I think this hasn’t happened before. Recently, I’ve started experiencing delays when moving my mouse in circles or within windows 10. It feels like the system freezes almost instantly, usually within a second. If I’m right, the issue appears more noticeable as the computer runs faster but isn’t certain.
I increased my i7-7700K to 4.7Ghz at 1.225Volts, then tried 1.220 which passed the realbench 8-hour test, but I went higher since the problem persisted. I also overclocked the Corsair Vengeance LPX 4x8 at 2133mhz to 2933mhz, it works well with 1.35V, though I haven’t adjusted it yet because of this lag. The clock speeds are 16-16-38; I also tried 14-16-38 which seemed stable according to memtest, but since the issue remains, I’m cautious about making more changes.
Do you think this is related to my overclocking or could it be due to a recent Windows 10 update? Would appreciate any advice.
Additionally, I noticed lagging in a large project in FL Studio when scrolling or moving around, especially when zooming out with many samples/sounds. I don’t recall having that problem before upgrading my hardware and components.
I’m not sure if the new Seagate HDD is the cause, and I’m confident this wasn’t an issue before I increased my system’s specs.
the issue was with the wireless keyboard and mouse from Logitech, mainly related to the range.
