They bought GTA 5 together and faced slow internet speeds. One of them spent about ten hours downloading it. I suggested copying the files directly from the downloaded game to the other PC instead of relying on their connection. Would you think they’d get better performance if they moved the files over their network? A USB drive would help, but only 32GB fits a 60GB game, so they’d need two trips.

Connect the two computers through Ethernet if possible, and you can achieve roughly 32GB using RAR 5 with maximum compression. This will likely require a powerful machine.

Regular cables function properly for IPv4 configurations. IP addresses should be set accordingly, ensuring proper gateway and other PC connections. Gateway details need to be specified for accurate routing.

They might connect via an Ethernet cable, which would affect the speeds. The exact rates would depend on the setup and connection type.

Using gigabit LAN offers roughly 100-120MB/s, though actual performance varies with your hard drive's read/write speed.
