Hello! (I’m not sure if this forum is the best place for this issue, sorry about that) You’re planning to upgrade your PC and move everything from your old machine to the new one without losing anything. You also want to carry over Windows 11 from the old system. I’m curious—what method should you use? Should you opt for an external SSD or a flash drive? I’m not ready to build the new setup yet, just need to know what’s required beforehand. Thanks in advance!

You might not lose anything and can keep using Windows 11 without purchasing a new version.

You may reuse the license from the previous setup, though it will become inactive on that device. https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-11-tra...:text=This license is provided by,it was originally installed on. You’ll need to add your apps and games if you don’t bring the game drive with you. It’s a bit frustrating, but it’s a fresh machine—just install again, update everything, and test it by cloning first.
