Hello. I want to point out that I don’t own any CoD or Battlefield titles, and enjoy Doom, Quake, and source games. I recently played Battlefield 1 with a friend on his PC. The movement felt very slow, and even though running was quicker, you couldn’t fire while doing so. That made me hesitant about buying the game. To be honest, most of my games have fast movement, except CS:GO, which is okay because of its tactical play, but it’s still quicker than Battlefield 1. Does anyone else notice this issue? Is there a way to shoot while running? Thanks in advance.

The speed in BF1 feels authentic, making it slower than more arcade-style games. For quicker action, newer CoD titles with jetpacks could suit you better.

It seems these games aren't really suited for my preferences. I think it's hard to avoid hitting other players' shots with such fast movement, and the gameplay felt slow when trying to get from one place to another. I played CoD but didn’t enjoy it. Probably won’t try Battlefield 1 anymore.

It's what attracts me to BF1 since you need to rely on cover and teamwork to avoid hits. However, it does result in a slower pace compared to other shooters. You might want to consider games like Dirty Bomb or Overwatch instead.

I never noticed the strategic aspect of the match. When my friend was active, he was constantly moving around the map and taking shots at anything that came near, and it looked like he was performing well.
