Typically there are some conflicts in the registry, so I wouldn't try it. Just install it on the new PC.

It doesn’t function at all. The software is set up on a different mechanical drive than your operating system SSD. It keeps prompting for reinstallation whenever you attempt to launch it.

*facepalm* Did you really set up the trial version on your computer? Then you’ve cheated. All that troubleshooting just tricks it into thinking it’s working without a real product key.
