Hey guys. Today out of nowhere, my mouse's rgb had a funny reaction with me.
The lighting effects aren't functioning properly. It seems like it's turning off to LED. But when I adjust the dpi, the lights appear briefly, indicating the current dpi setting.
I realize the rgb didn't fail completely since the lights are present, but it just doesn't behave as expected.
So far, I've tried reinstalling the mouse software, restarting the pc, changing the USB port it's connected to, turning off the LED settings and then back on.
Other than that, it seems to be working normally.
The mouse: URAGE Reaper 210 (it's a bit cheap but offers good value)
The software: The generic mouse software provides limited options. You can change dpi, some lighting modes, but none work well, and macros aren't supported.

this wouldn't change the software settings, but it would reset the mouse's internal memory back to the default. it makes sense that a lower quality device wouldn't include such features. if you really need to see the mouse while using it, it seems poorly designed. the button placement should be simple enough to remember and use instinctively. if you can't operate without the LED feature, it might just be a new purchase. unless this company provides solid warranty support and...
within the program there should be an option to update firmware or to perform a factory reset of default settings. it might even exist as a separate executable in the software folder. if not, i’d likely just overlook the LEDs.

Is it a reasonable price? We're in this discussion now. If it won't reset, it's essentially a warranty or you should consider buying something else.
