Numerous users shared their opinions on both Steam and Ubisoft forums. Totalbiscuit verified the feedback. The discussions highlight concerns about graphics quality and frame rate, suggesting that PCs offer better performance than consoles. They also warn against giving consoles an unfair advantage by improving controls, as this could disrupt the balance between PC and console players.

There isn't a setting to disable it or use direct mouse input. .... my optical mouse won't work! *pulls out Xbox 360 controller*

Only the debunked version remains (Negative acceleration in ADS), it resolves the other accelerations. I verified it myself, and the results are noticeable!

AC4BF also faced the same issue previously. However, it isn't a major concern in AC because firearms aren't used frequently.

I really dislike acceleration too, but it doesn’t change the situation much. It’s not a game-breaker right now, and I’m not going to let it stop me. I’ve played quite a bit—over eight hours on FC4—and the mouse only has acceleration in one spot, which hasn’t stopped me from enjoying it. Give it a try; you’ll see it works. It’s a solid game, and even with these small issues, it’s worth playing until they get fixed. Adjust to it, and when it’s better, you’ll be glad. If you think this is meant to seem harsh, don’t worry—I meant it kindly.

They seem unlikely to resolve the issue. If they had prioritized accurate mouse control, they would have addressed it. Adding mouse acceleration could disrupt my workflow and alter my muscle memory. Still, I’m considering getting it—it looks like a decent game. I’d like to see a solution, similar to what was implemented in FC3. They also mentioned mouse acceleration before.

I've seen someone disassembled or extracted files like Patch.dat and discovered additional mouse settings, but they didn't make any changes to fix the issue. I understand your first two points about that, though I'm not sure if you're correct.
