I just installed Manjaro Linux recently. My mouse feels quick up and down but slow across the screen. I’m not a long-time Linux user, so please be gentle while assisting. Search results mention touchpads, but I’m using a USB mouse on my desktop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated—feel free to ask more if needed. Thank you!

It somehow resolved itself, odd.

It was a brief fix... really. What caused it to stabilize? A complete restart might have helped. I’m dealing with the same issue too—it’s obvious when browsing chat in Minecraft servers, and it becomes quite bothersome.

It’s unclear how it resolved itself, especially given how long ago it happened. However, it has managed to fix itself again. I rebooted my device numerous times, but this time I performed a complete shutdown and then turned it back on. I truly hope I understand the reason behind this so I could permanently stop it.
