Mouse keeps stuttering or jittering during use.
Hi, I need help with my ITX build, like 4 days the pc started like stuttering especially the mouse after the pc fell to the floor but not too hard, after that I checked every cable connection and reseated the ram and cpu and gpu but Ive been having the same problem.
And I did a userbenchmark it says my parts are performing fine but it cant recognize the gpu, says "gpu is missing" (integrated graphics are disabled.)
Specs:
Ryzen 9 7900X
RTX 4070 FE
B650E-I ROG STRIX Gaming wifi
32GB G.SKILL Trident Z5 6000MHz (2x16GB)
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB NVME
Corsair MP600 PRO LPX 2TB MVME
EVGA SuperNova 850W GM 80+ Gold
CPU cooler is?
This is bad.
You could try formatting OS drive and making clean Win installation, in hopes of it being software issue. But i doubt it.
Because your PC fell, it has sustained hardware damage. What exactly - hard to tell, but my guess would be (microscopic) crack in MoBo PCB. Hence why you have that lag issue.
As of what to do next: you could haul it to PC repair shop, tell that your PC fell to the ground and pay for diagnostics. But my guess is that hardware replacement is inevitable. Most likely suspect would be crack in MoBo PCB. Probably around PCI-E x16 slot, when GPU rattled around when PC hit the ground. Or around CPU socket, if you have beefy CPU cooler on top of CPU.
Cpu cooler is a MSI MAG coreliquid 240R V2, it doesnt seem that beefy. I already tried formatting/clean installation. There is a slight/mild bend on the motherboard where the GPU is. When it fell, it fell on the gpu side too.. I'll show you a picture when I have the time.
Edit: Forgot to mention whenever the system boots up it operates fine but after like 10 minutes it starts acting up, I also see the CPU spiking up to 70-82+ temp at this time.
Consider checking for GPU problems first. However, I believe the problem lies with your mini-ITX MoBo. It's still worth testing the GPU just in case.
