Good evening everyone, I’m wondering if there’s a connection issue with my Razer Viper Ultimate gaming mouse. The dongle sometimes disconnects and reappears, even after I’ve swapped it in or connected it to the dock. Could this be related to Razer Synapse?

I hope I can assist further, but where exactly is the dock located? If it isn’t nearby your home, something might be obstructing it—though many people typically place mouse docks in front of them anyway.

I faced a comparable issue with my Logitech mouse, and after replacing it with a Razer model, the problem persisted. It turned out the dongle was positioned at the back of the case. By moving it to the front, the issue disappeared. The metal in the back was blocking the signal. Try shifting the dongle from the back to the front and see if it resolves the problem. I'm hopeful it will, though you're right to be cautious.

I tested it on the front panel before, I noticed the same issue. After switching it to the back and using USB 3.2/3.1, it finally worked with the mouse dock. However, it still freezes sometimes—like when the mouse turns green, it changes color, then returns to green after about five seconds. A new mouse is causing problems too.

Place the mouse on the back of the mainboard for a secure connection.

Wireless is only one aspect. Have you tested it on another device and possibly inspect the USB ports? Drivers might be the problem too! Consider lowering the frequency—it could be drawing too much power and causing interference. Also, verify everything works correctly in Razer Synapse.

They were adjusting and I received a new BIOS, but there are no drivers available for my mainboard's USB port.

No, the dock is not in front of anything.

Place it in the back port, possibly connected via USB 2.0. Currently, I see a 3.2 plug is used.

This likely caused the slowdown.
