Hi,
I saw that whenever I plug my mouse into my laptop, the USB port crackles. I tested this with three laptops and found the same issue in each one. What might be causing this problem? How can I resolve it?

Do you have an audio or video recording of the problem? Which laptop model are you using? Providing a SKU would be very helpful. What is the brand and model of your mouse? If you've made any modifications to the laptop or replaced parts, please let us know. Have you attempted to fix the issue using only battery power? Does this problem occur with other USB mice? Is the same issue present on another laptop or computer?

Its a steelseries rival 3, basically i moved my pc from one place to another by car and since then i started hearing audio static through headphones in my pc, changed headphones, static still there, also when i moved my mouse i heard a static noise, i thought my psu is faulty so i sent it to warranty and im still waiting for it. Meanwhile, i have another laptop and i tried to play on it and i plugged in my steelseries mouse and i heard the same static noise when i moved my mouse, so i tried it with another mouse and the sound went away.. is there like a possibility that my psu “fried” my mouse, keyboard and other pc parts?

Could it be that I switched to a different power cord for my PSU? I forgot mine and used another one from home, thinking it was the issue. The sound is similar to what you shared.

I mean if you can't find a solution, just replace the mouse. Common denominator. Plus I doubt there's anything you could do to fix it short of opening it up and having a look at the internals.
