Hello!
I've been playing Valorant for a few months now and have been dealing with serious mouse issues.
Every time I turn on my PC, the mouse behaves differently.
Sometimes it feels incredibly fast, so I lower my sensitivity.
Other times it's super slow, forcing me to revert to my previous settings.
I've tried all the tips and tricks I found online, but nothing seems to work consistently.
It's strange with the mouse—it's not just in Valorant.
Right now, I'm using the Logitech G PRO Wireless without any software (onboard memory) at 400dpi and 1000Hz.
I'm starting to think there might be an electrical issue, but I don't know how to fix it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

Update your post with detailed hardware specifications and operating system information.
Check and analyze performance using Task Manager and Resource Monitor, running each tool individually.
Notice the moments when the mouse feels unusually responsive and then when it lags significantly.
Identify which resources are being consumed in each scenario, the percentage usage, and which process is responsible.

Hello and thank you for your reply!
I'm using the G PRO Wireless from Logitech. I've replaced about three of the same mice to avoid any defects.
I've checked everything but nothing looked unusual when the mouse was fast or slow.
I've turned off all background services and programs as well.
I've reinstalled drivers multiple times and experimented with onboard settings too.
I've used different mousepads and tried various USB ports, but nothing changed.
Today I connected my mouse to the USB 3.0 port and it felt slower. I think the reduced sensitivity matches what I experience at 400 dpi.
I'm quite confused because these issues have lasted a long time, and I don't even recall how my performance was before they started.
On the other hand, going back to the original USB port didn't improve the behavior—it stayed the same. It seems completely random, just acting unpredictably.

This mouse?
Logitech G PRO Wireless Mouse
Where is the USB Receiver physically connected?
Consider using a reliable USB extension cable to relocate the USB Receiver away from the host computer. This is particularly useful if the Receiver is located at the back of the machine and the computer is placed on the floor or another surface.
A USB extension cable offers two advantages:
1) It alters the physical connection between the Receiver and the host port, potentially enhancing compatibility and consistency in sensitivity.
2) Moving the Receiver upward and away from the case can improve signal reception and transmission, leading to better performance stability.

That's the mouse I'm using! I've connected the extension cable to the back of my computer and positioned the dongle right at the edge of the mousepad for optimal connectivity.

Perhaps "too close". Consider shifting the dongle slightly to see if sensitivity levels out in a specific spot. Once no further gains are seen, I'd look into possible interference sources.

I'll try keeping it at the edge of the table.
Today the mouse feels "heavy". I'm pretty sure this is the right setting, though I'm confused. I'll leave it as it is and report back tomorrow morning, even though I'm taking a break from playing because high-level FPS games with sensitivity issues are really affecting my performance.
Sensitivity changes randomly but usually returns to "super fast" after leaving the PC on for too long.
I think it might be the mouse itself since it's cold outside, but I had similar problems in summer too, so I'm not sure.

The issue is resurfacing once more. I don't understand, G Pro is one of the worst choices I've ever made.

Late question: Are you employing G Hub or another "control panel" such as software to set up the mouse? Even if not being used directly or intentionally, verify if any of these applications are running in the background.
FYI:
https://thegamingsetup.com/gaming-mouse/...ware-g-hub
Turn off or remove any such programs as a precaution.
Keep an eye on Task Manager to identify what starts up and which apps are active in the background.
It’s possible the mouse sensor (heavy usage, etc.) is being impacted by another running application or a combination of them.

I've been using ghub and logitech gaming software, as well as running it with just onboard memory.
I've also tried turning off all apps to check if the issue continues, but nothing really changed.
To be honest, when the mouse is heavy I can aim accurately. The problem arises when the mouse feels too "loose".
