I have a Gigabyte Z690 Aero with a 12700K processor (not overclocked, but kept at lower voltages) and a Corsair RM750x (white). This problem occurs uniformly across all platforms—Windows, Mac OS (Hackintosh), and even in the BIOS. In the BIOS, the mouse jumps abruptly right away upon startup. On Mac OS, the stuttering is less frequent initially but lasts only about a quarter of a second. Over time, as the system runs longer, the delay increases. I've tried various fixes: removed all USB devices except the mouse and keyboard, took out the SSD and NVMe drives, unplugged the GPU, removed the Intel Wifi/Bluetooth AX210 card, reset the F_U32 header, updated BIOS from f23 to f25 to f29 (latest), reset the motherboard, disconnected all connections from the case, and even used a different power outlet. This issue persists in BIOS too. I've booted into BIOS after removing nearly everything possible—including all drives, GPU, card, and even the motherboard itself. I’m not using any USB hubs; both wired and wireless mice connect directly to the board, regardless of port type or speed.

Importantly, this affects audio as well. When music plays through my JBL USB speakers, the sound cuts out for the same duration as the mouse skips on the screen. This pattern continues even after several days when the mouse stutters for about half a second. Some video clips below illustrate the mouse issue in Windows, with more stress tests on a black background (for clearer visibility), and another showing the mouse skipping even when the motherboard remains connected to the PC, along with a video demonstrating every port being removed from the case to eliminate interference.

The motion appears fluid, resembling typical mouse interactions, though some frames seem absent. It might be related to high graphics card usage. Consider adjusting your screen's refresh rate to test its impact.

I've experimented with various refresh rates, such as connecting my AMD 6800 via DisplayPort and using the iGPU through HDMI. I also reset the monitor settings, but the issue persists. Regardless of whether the mouse or speakers are connected through USB hubs, case headers, or directly to the motherboard, the audio skips whenever the mouse moves on screen. I've submitted an RMA for my motherboard and am about two weeks away from the warranty expiration, hoping they will address this problem.

You're experiencing unexpected issues with your mouse and USB devices, which is concerning. The company claims these are normal behaviors, but the erratic performance suggests something more serious. Your situation has been challenging—being without a computer for over a month while using outdated hardware that doesn't support necessary apps. Consider reaching out to higher support levels or escalating the issue with detailed logs of your problems.
