I'm using the Corsair Graphite Series 760T and a Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler. It's my first time with liquid cooling, so I'm unsure about the best mounting position.

It appears you have two options. The first is positioned at the top, while the second is in front. However, the hose length might limit mounting in the front, requiring a switch from 2x140mm fans to 120mm high static pressure fans and sacrificing lighting. A top mount seems preferable, though opinions vary on whether it should function as an exhaust.

What is this I7?
What is the intended function of this computer?
For gaming, there could be superior alternatives available.
My frustrated take on liquid cooling:

For closed loop liquid coolers, there isn't one that stands out. XLC models such as the EK Predator and Swiftech H220-x are worth considering.

Your pc will run quieter and more reliably, staying cool equally with a good air cooler. This makes perfect sense after looking into it. I think I'd be around 1 or 2 degrees cooler with a liquid cooler, but it would be much noisier. What about a high-end air cooler? It should match the final build closely, like this one: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/8sd4RB (just likely a lower wattage PSU).

I have this exact arrangement, I originally installed it at the top and then mounted it in front, placing some Corsair 120mm static pressure fans on the back of the radiator while keeping the stock 140mm fans ahead as an intake setup. It seems to function very well.

I prefer a water cooler since air coolers are large, bulky, and unattractive. Water cooling blocks are compact, slim, and stylish.
