I have a B650M gaming motherboard that my brother used. He adjusted the antennas thinking it would improve Wi-Fi performance. A book fell onto the antennas, causing intermittent connectivity issues. Now my PC sometimes connects but experiences high ping—30 ping at first, then 60 with noticeable lag spikes. The back shows the two wireless antennas are bent; one is straight while the other tilts slightly. When antennas are active, the difference is clear. It’s a Gigabyte and MSI board—would it be possible to get it repaired under warranty?
It seems the setup isn't perfect, but it's not a major problem. You might want to check for a solid ground connection on the internal pin using a multimeter. If you have enough PCIe space, buying a WiFi module for about $20 could help improve the connection.
