It seems the B550 model doesn't work with older AMD CPU generations. If you purchase a B550M, it won't function on your existing system.
B550 only works with Zen 2 and Zen 3. If you intend to use the 2200g, you'll need a B450 board. The B450m mortar has its limits, the B450m pro vdh max, and the B450m tuf pro s (not the plus version) are decent MATX options that support the 2200g. Keep in mind these boards generally lack a Zen 3 AGESA BIOS update.
