You’re trying to build something new and it’s confusing. Let me simplify this for you.

Your motherboard says the RAM should be 4800 MHz, but when you open it, it shows 6000 MHz. That’s odd because the specs say otherwise. Maybe the BIOS isn’t updating correctly or there’s a misunderstanding in the numbers. Check if the RAM is actually installed at 4800 MHz and not higher. Also, make sure your CPU and other parts match the motherboard’s requirements. If everything looks good but the speed still doesn’t show up, it could be a hardware issue or a BIOS glitch. Just double-check everything step by step.

ASUS BIOS displays memory settings oddly; the section you expect for current speed and ASRock/Gigabyte boards actually shows JEDEC values instead of real running rates. You’ll need to check another location since it’s been a while since you used an ASUS board longer than ten minutes. Since Task Manager lists 6000MT/s, it seems functional, but I’ve noticed other unusual readings before, so verifying with CPU-Z or HWInfo64 would be wise. If those tools say 3000MHz, everything appears correct because RAM operates at half the data rate.
