Hey, I noticed a problem about a month ago. After checking with hwinfo, I found that the power supply voltage is normal, but the motherboard displays 10V instead of the expected 12V. Every day I experience a black screen or a reboot with kernel-power id 41. It seems completely random—could be playing games, watching videos, or browsing. Nothing unusual happening.

System specs:
- Ryzen 2700X
- Corsair Vengeance 8x2GB 3000MHz case
- ASUS X470 Prime Pro
- RTX 2080 Ti (Furball)
- H115i Pro RGB (with 2 Noctua 3000RPM PWM fans)
- Corsair HX1200i Platinum
- Cougar Panzer Evo RGB full tower
- 2x Samsung 500GB SSD + 2x 2TB HDD

What I tried:
- Ran Memtest 12-hourly, no errors in both sticks and single stick
- Used three different GPUs in different PCIe slots
- Tested two different power supplies
- Reinstalled Windows with minimal apps
- Updated all drivers from the official site, using latest BIOS and GPU with DDU
- Verified all cables were plugged correctly
- Set Ryzen balanced plan, keeping everything powered and max settings

I think the issue might be with the motherboard itself. Please find my hwinfo reading for reference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The optimal scenario could be a window issue—consider reaching out to Microsoft Support. In the most severe situation, a connection might fail or a cable could be damaged (for this, local tech assistance is suggested).

It seems like either a data issue or a hardware concern in BIOS regarding 12V readings. Have you confirmed the voltage at the connectors on the motherboard using a multimeter? It might be wise to proceed with an RMA if the readings don’t match expectations.

The board arrived in September, but about a month ago it began failing—first with the RTX 2080 Ti, then with the 1070 after switching to it. I was surprised when it stopped working again, wondering if the new card caused the issue or if something damaged the board.

It might be that the PSU isn't supplying enough power, especially when higher loads are applied like gaming.

Likely the voltage regulator failed. A new board is coming (ASRock X470 Taichi). I plan to return the Prime Pro or request a refund if they accept it. The ASUS return process is too slow, and I can't stay without a PC for over a month.
