I have a gigabyte b550m s2h with 5 phrases for vcore. For the top site it uses 4c10n, while the lower site employs two 4c06n in parallel... it should easily manage an 8-core processor. My question is whether I can overclock this 5800x Extreme for 24 hours daily on this motherboard? I'm worried about the VRM cooling system.

It's already experiencing overheating VRMs on a 5800X motherboard.

Consider a budget motherboard like the ASUS ROG Strix B550M PRO or the MSI MAG B550 PRO, both supporting 8-core Extreme OC configurations.

You can always install a fan there. A slim 50, 60 or 70mm fan with zipties can significantly lower temperatures. It’s not the same as the 5800X, which tends to hit its thermal limits almost immediately at stock settings. Extreme cooling isn’t typical for budget boards because items like liquid helium or hydrogen increase costs, so you prefer a board with more advanced features.

He mentioned it supports an overclocked 3950X, which led me to believe it could manage a 5800X effortlessly.

This seems to be an unnecessary statement.
