I tested the RAM using XMP both on and off, but there was no noticeable change. My system is only a single BIOS version ahead of yours. Thank you for your effort—I'll try re-seating the CPU and updating the BIOS.
If you relocate your DIMMs to slots B1 and B2, the device will likely respond accordingly. It seems unlikely a BIOS upgrade would resolve the problem, particularly if the issue isn’t covered by the update. Your suspicion that the slot might be faulty appears reasonable.
I thought a BISO update would help, but both DIMMs in B1 and B2 didn’t work. I suspected the slots were faulty. I was hoping someone here could offer an alternative perspective. A bit of hopeful guessing on my end. Thanks still!
