I just installed some new RAM for my computer. The older ones were too slow, and they started blinking when I put them near the lights. But once I inserted one stick into the B1 slot, it worked perfectly. My specs are i5-12600k, Z690 UD DDR4. If you need anything else, just let me know about the new RAM I bought—Patriot Viper Elite II 16GB DDR4 at 4000MHz single module.

Ensure CMOS is cleared first. Were both devices connected simultaneously? Do you have the previous RAM model?

I've already reset the CMOS and will attempt to install them simultaneously. My previous RAM was Corsair Vengeance 2x8GB at 2400MHz.

Did you consider upgrading the BIOS using the previous RAM? The latest version might offer better compatibility. After installation, revert the BIOS settings back to the standard configuration to clear any XMP adjustments.

Yes, that's correct. You tested it using just the new RAM.

Actually, since it wasn't functioning properly with the previous RAM, I'm planning to reinstall the old RAM.

Sure, I understand you were clarifying something. It seems like you wanted to make sure the message was clear. Updating your BIOS might be necessary depending on your situation.

I've resolved it, but the problem persists.
