I purchased some memory earlier, but I'm looking to add more. Can I purchase a different kind of memory specifically for RGB?

Mix and match kits might not always succeed, but if they do, timing or frequency differences could cause all sticks to run together. Ideally, using the same kit is best, unless there are minor changes like RGB options or other differences. Otherwise, it should generally work technically, though not always guaranteed.

It should function technically, but it's better to purchase the identical kit as before.
