Monitoring processor temperatures for Ryzen 3600
I checked my CPU temperature with Ryzen Master and noticed it’s higher than usual when idle, usually around 45-57°C. During the AC Odyssey benchmark, it stayed in the lower 80s most of the time but spiked to 88 and reached 90 at one point, indicating it’s running hotter than expected. When browsing, it fluctuates between 48-55°C. I’m using the cooler provided by AMD, can you help me improve its performance?
Ensure the latest BIOS is active on the board, install the newest chipset drivers, and verify proper airflow within the enclosure. Also, confirm the system is running at default settings without any performance enhancements or modifications.
You can purchase it for $23 and get a lot more, though the improvement isn't significant. It includes clips for attaching an additional fan if needed.
Update your information profiles, apply the newest chipset updates, turn off PBO, and run the cooler at full power. Verify it’s securely fastened and ensure your case allows smooth air circulation.
My computer was upgraded by my dad's friend who builds PCs on the side. For the chassis, I'm using a Corsair spec 05 case with one fan for intake and two fans for exhaust.
a little bit, but not terrible. peaking at 90 is fine, providing it doesnt keep climbing. could be a combination of ambient temps and case airflow.
He put in a game from an untrustworthy site. I checked my computer for malware, but the antivirus flagged something suspicious as a crypto threat—probably a crypto trojan. It got cleared, but it’s still showing up. Should I consider a clean format?
I reside in India, where temperatures are typically high, and I wonder if that contributes to CPU temperatures.
