Monitoring Game Performance in Real Time
Monitoring Game Performance in Real Time
Consider CPU and RAM information but you can view FPS, GPU temperature, load, clock speed, memory clock, memory usage, GPU voltage and fan speed using EVGA precision or MSI Afterburner. These settings are accessible via the 'Monitoring' and 'OSD' sections in the settings menu. Additional features include adjusting rendering mode and text color in RivaTuner Statistics Server, which comes with EVGA precision (or older versions) and MSI Afterburner, both relying on this tool.
The installation will add RivaTuner Statistic Server (RTSS). Alternatively, you can install Rivatuner Statistics Server separately and use tools like HWiNFO instead, as demonstrated in the third part of this guide. After setup, open RTSS and turn on "show on-screen display." Navigate to MSI Afterburner, then access the settings menu—select monitoring. This will display a list of monitored items. To view them in Afterburner, click the checkmark next to each item. For OSD visibility, click the listing, tap the checkbox beside it, and enable "show in on-screen display" for the desired information. You can track any PC component; if it doesn’t appear in Afterburner, consider using a complementary program such as HWiNFO alongside RTSS.
