My current setup involves an MSI laptop connected to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This portable configuration serves as my desktop until I can afford to assemble a traditional tower PC. I’m looking to improve my cable organization with a Type C hub offering various ports like DP and USB, but I'm worried about potential performance issues – specifically, whether it will introduce lag when gaming and if it will prevent me from utilizing my monitor’s full 144Hz refresh rate when connected via DisplayPort. Could you offer some guidance on how to approach this? Thank you.
