I’m experiencing issues with my monitors and CPU.
My first monitor likely failed after being used for a year, showing black and grey lines until it stopped working. After that, I switched to another monitor (my original one from my brother) which also broke shortly after. Then I tried using a smart TV as a monitor via HDMI, but I haven’t used it much lately. Recently, the TV started showing small distortions, especially when clicking on words on the Facebook page. I’m concerned and need help.

Your device isn't responsible for any harm to your display. Issues often stem from monitor or TV age, usage duration, and power supply concerns. Have you tested the monitors on another system? Are the lines visible only in the BIOS or just the screen?

I haven't tested it on another computer. I thought my CPU damaged both monitors. Both were second-hand: one from a cousin and the other a gift from my brother who already used it. My second monitor broke a few weeks after the first one, which I bought from my cousin. After using my smart TV as a monitor, it started showing distortion—words shifting side to side—and I assumed the worst. I decided not to risk it and turned it off. My first monitor's power supply was connected to the CPU, while the second has its own adapter, and my smart TV uses a different setup.

I might experiment with various display settings on your TV. Could you tell me what type of GPU you have? Maybe adjusting the options in your control panel could help.
