I've experienced this problem only recently. When the monitor is off due to inactivity, it doesn't come back on. The fans and other devices stay active except the screen. It's not just random crashes or blank screens when I use it; the issue continues with different monitors and cables. I've tried everything from checking RAM and GPU to using DDU to reinstall drivers. Even resetting BIOS settings didn't fix it. Any advice would be really helpful. Hardware: Intel Core I5 4460, AMD Radeon RX 580, 8GB Corsair DDR3 1333MHz, MoBo AsRock B85m-ITX, PSU RoseWill RD500-2SB 500W, Monitor: old Dell, OS: Windows 10 latest update.

It's quite intriguing, especially since your Gigabyte 4090 OC had a firmware update that fixed the problem for a while before it recurred. You're able to fix the display signal by disconnecting and reconnecting the DP cable, which suggests a possible hardware or driver issue. I wonder if others have faced similar challenges with the same model? In Gigabyte's 4090 case, they've acknowledged the problem and tried solutions. Your Windows issue, where the BIOS appears but not the OS, might be related to compatibility or driver conflicts.

Hello, I haven't used that feature yet. Would you like to know how to turn on hidden keyboard detection in Device Manager?

Turn off the multi-plane overlay in the MPO settings. Have you installed the newest monitor driver?

Consider testing another monitor to determine if the issue persists. Check if the problem occurs with your current setup or another one you have access to. Switching input devices like a laptop or console via HDMI might help identify whether the monitor itself is faulty.

I don’t have a driver for this monitor, but I can help you understand how to turn off MPO. It usually involves adjusting settings in the operating system or using specific software tools provided by the manufacturer. Let me know if you need guidance on that process.
