The problem arises when my GPU is under heavy load, causing the monitor to lose signal. The only workaround seems to be turning off the computer using the hardware button. Audio remains audible even when the monitor fails, suggesting some processes are still active. This issue typically occurs within 30 minutes after playing demanding content, especially during cutscenes. It appears across various games such as God of War, Nier Automata, Wavetale, Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, but more intense RPGs seem to trigger it sooner. It does not occur during light tasks like web browsing. I have changed the GPU power cable and switched the outlet on the PSU, replaced the DisplayPort cable and updated the GPU's DP port. The problem persists on both Windows and Linux, with different driver versions. The GPU usually stays in a temperature range of 80-85°C, but often reaches 90-100% usage.

Computer specs:
NZXT H1 (version 1) with built-in PSU (NZXT S650)
ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING
Nvidia GTX 1080
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
2x8GB Kingston FURY Beast DDR4
Samsung SSD 970 EVO 250GB

Notes:
I've used this configuration for years. The CPU is the newest addition (about 2-3 years old), and the issue only appeared recently. Troubleshooting the H1 is challenging due to limited PCIe slots, PSU space, and restricted GPU room. Without spare parts, replacing the GPU would require a new case, PSU, etc., so I aim to identify the exact cause before investing in a full replacement. What could be the most likely reason? How can I better investigate this problem?

The probable problem is a malfunctioning PSU according to your description.

Because the PSU is integrated, it's hard to reach all parts of it (like the model number). However, based on information from the NZXT website, it appears to be a NZXT S650.

Information plays a key role in forming a correct evaluation. It appears the second probable cause is a malfunctioning GPU. Replacing one with a reliable alternative could assist in pinpointing the faulty part.
