Reaching temperatures up to 60°C while idle is quite extreme. A single-core boost reaching around 4900 is perfectly normal. This demonstrates the capabilities of modern single-core performance enhancements.

It seems your system is still active despite being in idle mode. These components can operate above 4.8 GHz if they remain cool and have sufficient power.

I used just a few monitoring tools, and I’m confused about why the processor jumps to a higher frequency than the default maximum boost setting even though I haven’t performed any overclocking.
