What kind of backup is this? It appears to handle personal files, not system files, and only those already saved in the cloud (OneDrive). I'm still a bit puzzled. I couldn't find any online information or YouTube videos clarifying its functionality. Could you explain what it lets you save and where the data is kept?

Windows 11's updated Backup and Restore process seems to be making things worse.
Microsoft has enhanced the backup and restore experience in Windows 11 as part of the major fall 2023 updates. However, it still falls short of what I expect.

My response: Understanding the precise backup settings and storage location that Microsoft intends for your data. A somewhat skeptical and humorous take. Regardless of the backup software's name, if it doesn<|pad|>, it should align with your needs. Hopefully, you won't be compelled to use it, and no one else will either.
I don't rely on online services for data protection. My use of online storage is mainly for personal family convenience, which has sometimes caused issues.
I prefer to limit usage rather than increase it. Particularly with OneDrive.
