You accessed the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion, updated the drive letter from C to D, but when you try to open programs, it shows the path doesn’t exist.

You dun goof'd! You could try booting into safe mode, or using System Restore to try and fix it maybe. If you don't know how, here's an easy guide

The specific REG_SZ you modified isn't listed here. You can still reach the registry via commandline using reg add or reg del commands.

You can locate it in C:\Windows\System32\regedt32.exe. I modified the default setup location before, but some files became corrupted, so I restored the original path. It’s simpler to set the installation directory directly when installing software.
