Modest Ryzen 5 1400 upgrade Overclocking tips for better performance
I’m excited to share that I upgraded my Ryzen 5 1400 from 3.2 GHz to 3.7 GHz. I think I could push it to 3.75 GHz, though I tend to get a bit anxious about it. I’m running at just 1.35 volts. I added a Cooler Master Hyper RGB 212 black edition cooler. While the installation was a bit of a challenge—I only managed three of the four struts and felt some shaking and jolts—it seems solid now. Plus, my temps dropped from 60°C idle to around 50°C or slightly lower. It was a tough install, but seeing the performance boost is really rewarding!
