It varies based on your activity. For high-quality gaming at 4K, you probably won’t hit CPU limits in most titles, but for 1080p e-sports games like CS:GO, a newer CPU is definitely beneficial.

Wait, you're not? I mostly enjoy new games at 1080p, like No Man's Sky, Cyberpunk Atomic Heart Forest, etc.

It won't be as challenging as playing competitive e-sports, but sticking to 1080p would make a 3060 Ti or 6700 XT more appropriate, especially with a CPU upgrade.

This build may face performance issues due to the bottleneck. Right now, you're achieving 70 fps with low settings on NMS, but the new GPU could improve that.

A fresh GPU will outperform your current one, but beyond a certain limit it won’t keep up with higher performance gains. On that CPU, the 6650 XT and 6800 XT should be roughly comparable in most titles, making it smarter to pick a mid-range GPU and upgrade your CPU together for better overall results at similar cost.

Yes, you can maintain this setup as the new card. It will boost your FPS in games and let you play without issues.

You won't unlock the maximum performance from the new GPU in that configuration. It will run fine, but don't expect a significant boost—benchmarks suggest around 2.5x instead of the ~4x you might see with a GTX 1650.

I have a deal on the RX 6800 at a really low price, and I can't afford to replace my current CPU and motherboard. That's why I'm so interested in this, thank you for your assistance.

your brother uses the same CPU with a 3060 Ti, and these GPUs are quite similar in performance, so you should be okay.
