Hi! I need a BIOS pro. I own an Acer Verizon Z4660G built into a single machine, purchased used for $40 with a faulty LCD. My goal was to turn it into a custom desktop. It functioned perfectly at first, but the default settings don’t display BIOS or boot options on external screens. I’ve tried all possible cables, ports, and even attempted to connect via external GPU or internal ports. I also watched YouTube tutorials about this model’s BIOS, but couldn’t find anything useful. Eventually, I flashed a different version from Windows, which would auto-apply on startup or required pressing Enter. In the end, I tweaked the Acer BIOS installation script to ignore previous settings, but it bricked the system. Now it won’t power on at all—no lights, just powering the motherboard when connected. I tested everything: CMOS cleared, power cables switched, and used three different flashing tools. One fix worked with AsProgrammer 2.0.1.3. The hex file was perfect, lasting 24 hours or more. However, the dump I made earlier is corrupted. I suspect using a “virgin” BIOS from the official site might have wiped my boot code, registers, or other settings. I’m not very experienced with BIOS, and I think the issue could be missing something like the boot code or serial number. I’ve searched online for unofficial dumps, but haven’t succeeded.
