The main variations could be in cooling methods and external antenna performance. Unless Asus boosts power output, which increases heat generation, I don’t think that’s a concern. I haven’t discussed WiFi adapters in terms of coverage before; that’s the router or access point’s responsibility. These adapters should handle reception similarly since they’re essentially the same under the hood. Of course, you won’t get full benefits from WiFi 6 features unless you connect to a WiFi 6 device, but they should work with older versions. For drivers, stick to Intel’s unless you specifically want additional features from TP-Link or Asus.
