Mobo flickering
I’m trying to figure out what’s causing this problem. I’ve tried everything I could think of, including replacing the graphics card. My card is flickering and won’t stay on. There was a brief window before switching cards where leaving it plugged in worked, but then it stopped responding. Since getting the new card, it hasn’t helped much, and I’m planning to adjust things again soon because I’ll be adding water cooling. Right now, I can’t get a video output working, though the start and flex buttons are still flickering. It was functioning briefly before another issue with “out of video memory,” even though hardware acceleration was off.

Asus z790 Apex Encore
Corsair AX1500i (bought in 2016 for my previous build)
G.skill Trident Z5 48 GB 8000mhz
Corsair 150i Elite CPU cooler
I believe the main issues are related to the graphics card and possibly the video output.

I own a Corsair AX1500i from 2016, which I purchased for my previous build. The self-test button appears to indicate everything is okay.
I’m trying to find a trustworthy 1KW PSU that was built before and see if the problem continues.
A unit nearly ten years old won’t perform the same after so long in use.
