I own an RX 570, my brother has a GTX 1660 SUPER, he mentioned he could provide it once he gets a more powerful GPU. Recently I watched a video and wondered what would happen if I combined both Nvidia and AMD cards into one system. The person in the video explained that his motherboard had only one PCIe slot for the CPU and others for the chipset. He attached the AMD card to the CPU slot and the Nvidia card to the chipset slot, which affected performance slightly in some games. Later he found a Reddit discussion suggesting using SLI or Crossfire-compatible boards for better results. I was curious about suitable motherboards that would meet my needs. As long as the board supports CPUs that work well with both cards and has a socket better than my current LGA1150, it should be fine. I understand pairing Nvidia and AMD isn’t ideal, but I’m excited to get this free GTX 1660 SUPER. By the way, I have a 700-watt power supply unit.
Changing your mainboard, including possibly other components, allows you to run outdated Not-SLI/Crossfire setups years after SLI/Crossfire became rare, but it’s an impractical and unhelpful approach.
This doesn't look like a good plan to me. Most boards with dual x8 PCIe lanes aren't affordable, and for the price you'd pay, you could get a GPU that performs much better than either option. Just use your existing GPU and keep the extra.
Despite using a recent motherboard and graphics cards, running both AMD and Nvidia drivers together often causes strange issues. Using just one of each works better, though the overall performance isn’t fully optimal in most situations.
I'm not sure if you watched the video, but it seems you might need two monitors. I didn't suggest SLI or Crossfire setups. I discovered a motherboard that supports BUFIRACION. You mentioned wanting some motherboard names—my 10-year-old CPU will be replaced, along with the current GPU and RAM. A new monitor is planned, regardless of the outcome. If it doesn't work, using one GPU is fine too.

These boards aren't inexpensive, so you might get a more affordable board paired with a better GPU for the same cost. The problem is it's a significant waste of money with little real gain. You'll need to inspect them yourself since the tool doesn't display speed details. Just observe the physical dimensions of the socket. A solid understanding comes from reviewing many boards and their connections.
