Seeking advice on the best motherboard to pair with the i5-7600K. Please share your thoughts on the rest of the PC setup as well. I’m considering options between the Z270 and the Asus Z170, but I’m not sure which one fits better.

The 170 may lack the necessary BIOS for Kaby, so I recommend the 270 instead.

The 170 may lack the necessary BIOS to run the Kaby, so I recommend the 270 instead. Would you like me to upgrade the BIOS of the 170 to support Kaby? And would that cost more than its value at that time?

It relies on the specific board. For ASUS, search for one compatible with Flashback. For Gigabyte, consider q-flash plus
