Mobo advice

Hello, I recently purchased the B450M Steel Legend. I’m pretty sure I can request a refund and buy another one for about $100. I looked through the motherboard tier lists but still feel unsure which one fits a 2700 series board well. Any suggestions would be great, since this is my first build and I want to maximize performance for around $1000. Thanks!

What excites you about swapping it is that the older Ryzens models aren’t the top-tier overclockers, making them more suitable for casual players.

Thanks for the note! Also, that question isn’t really about me—should I go with HyperX for RAM or pick Corsair or G.Skill instead?

All three options are great quality products. I prefer Corsair mainly because of their good value, but RYZEN also offers solid performance. If you can, aim for 3000MHz RAM for the best speed.
