Hi there, welcome! I see you're looking to add a SIM card to your Dell Vostro1510 laptop for remote work. You've already purchased the PCE-I and network components, which is a great start. Since you're unsure about the next steps, you might need to install the appropriate drivers for your device. Make sure to check the manufacturer's website or contact their support for specific instructions tailored to your model. This will help you connect to the internet and use your laptop effectively while traveling.

I think there are LTE USB adapters that work with a SIM card. They let you connect to the internet while traveling. What items did you purchase? A full-size PCI adapter wouldn’t fit in your laptop.

I purchased these products and they fit perfectly in my laptop. I was curious about their compatibility, especially since the original model from 2008 didn’t include any integration option. I thought there might be a way to incorporate them during the laptop’s build.

They should function, but you'll still need antennas. You could simply connect a phone or use a USB cellular adapter.

You attach your phone to a surface using the provided cable. It’s a straightforward process, especially if you’re new to it.
