MO vs NMM for modding my Bethesda games?
MO vs NMM for modding my Bethesda games?
Based on the mods you're employing, updating or replacing other mods is beneficial and essential when loading certain advanced mod sets that introduce distinctive elements into a game's environment. After several years with NMM, the main challenge I've faced is managing conflicts when switching to MultiHD for specific titles, where necessary files from NMM are placed on C: Drive instead of the usual E: or F: drives, because those titles don't accept their configurations outside <user>\My Documents\My Games.
Back then there were noticeable distinctions, but now they seem quite similar. Due to those earlier variations, I switched from NMM to MO for its extra capabilities. Over time I’ve stuck with the same MO version since installation, even though I don’t remember all the differences anymore. Personally, I still favor MO just because it’s familiar to me.
