I purchased two 16GB drives with 3Gb/s speeds when I first set up my system. The other important details are 3Gb/s at 14-15-15-17 MHz, but the current speeds aren't available. Should I upgrade to a 3200MHz or 3600MHz setup instead, or should I pair it with an 8GB drive? My CPU is a Ryzen 7 3700X and the motherboard is MSI B550 Tomahawk.

Choose the 3600mhz RAM package only if it doesn’t significantly exceed the prices of the alternatives (it typically does not).

Mixing kits might lead to unexpected problems, yet they can also function perfectly, making things a bit unpredictable... Overall, I wouldn't suggest using them due to the possible difficulties.

The variation is similar to a $9 difference. Is it feasible to lower the 3200MHz model to 3000MHz and obtain a 4GB RAM system?
