Missing Windows RE image issue
Hi everyone, I’m having trouble finishing the Windows updates. The error code I received (0x80070643) has caused my system to lack the winre.wim file. I attempted to run the CMD prompt command reagentc /enable, but it reported that the Windows RE image wasn’t found. After that, I executed bcdedit /enum all and in the Windows Boot Loader section it displayed:

Well - the recovery partition isn't present.
It likely resided in the unallocated 528MB area on disk 0.
Run the following commands in an elevated command prompt to generate a recovery partition on the OS drive:
diskpart
list disk
select disk 2
(list OS disk)
list partition
select partition 3
(select 931GB OS C: partition, partition number should be 3, but double check)
shrink desired=750
create partition primary size=750
format fs=ntfs quick
set id="de94bba4-06d1-4d40-a16a-bfd50179d6ac"
gpt attributes =0x8000000000000001
exit
No error messages should appear.
If issues arise, halt immediately.
Once completed, display the screenshot from Disk Management.
BTW - you might want to install the failing Windows update first.
Once a recovery partition is set up, it can install the Windows Recovery Environment independently.
