I recently assembled my new PC using an R5 3600 and an RX 600. After installing BF2042, my performance doesn’t match the results shown in those videos. I’m consistently at 100% CPU usage, only achieving about 50 FPS and experiencing stuttering. What might be missing? Although BF is not well optimized for CPUs, these examples suggest it’s possible with this configuration. The second video was released just three weeks ago. It seems I might be overlooking something that could boost my frame rate. My only variation from the setup in those videos is having 2400MHz RAM with XMP enabled—but that shouldn’t significantly impact my FPS.
