Tell me more about the issue. Which games or events triggered it? What are the signs you're noticing? SFC and DISM focus on checking system file health, while DISM/CheckHealth verifies integrity. System files are essential for Windows operation; new software often adds DLLs, and missing ones can cause problems.

The file XAPOFX1_5.dll is absent, and reinstalling it didn’t resolve the issue. The problem continues with the games.

Most days individuals restart or reinstall Windows only to express frustration on forums about malfunctions. Of course—halting these resets and reinstalls will improve performance.

I only tried it once since the startup would stop after installing a new motherboard and RAM.

That was a significant upgrade. You switched from an older processor to a much more powerful one without any issues.

I also searched for something comparable, but only discovered the dxdiag. It resolved all issues so far!
