Purchase the 2. Game than. I enjoy playing Catalyst atm. It's excellent and highly optimized.

Not fully optimized yet, especially on my side. I’ve already won the game, though texture problems were noticeable—especially at 280x. With the 1070, streaming looks a bit smoother now. I’d advise against playing Catalyst until you’ve tried the first one. It’s loosely connected, but it makes more sense if you’ve played Origin recently. As for Steam, they’ve improved customer service compared to before.

I experiment with high settings at 1440p and maintain around 80 FPS consistently. There are no text problems. It might be related to AMD again. You don’t need to start the first game. The story isn’t what makes the game strong.

We could have explained it earlier. The origin isn't a problem. Catalyst is a great game, superior to the previous one. I don't face any texture problems with my 1080 at 1440p Ultra settings. It looks like the issue is related to VRAM or AMD.
