I plan to sell my 3700X to a buyer on the FB Marketplace today. During my final check, I saw a few pins bent at two corners; I straightened them with my credit card. They look mostly fixed, though not perfectly straight. If the pins are 99.9% aligned, will the chip fit? What’s the risk of hardware issues? The chip remains under warranty since it was purchased in 2020.

Sure. Just make sure the installation doesn’t require too much force in the socket. If all pins are intact, nothing should go wrong. I’d let the buyer know about a few pins that were slightly bent and fixed, but they shouldn’t affect performance.
