Hi Everyone, Recently when I open settings it takes anywhere from 2 to 15 seconds. I can be typing or scrolling and it just minimizes, making changing a wallpaper really frustrating. I’ve followed all the tips from Microsoft. Some users have had luck by removing the Bluetooth icon from the system tray. Nothing seems to help for me. It looks like Windows is losing focus on the settings window. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jeff

It seems your PC might be prioritizing focus settings, which can interfere with other configurations. Consider using tools like Windows Focus Logger to identify the root cause of focus loss.

Taking attention away is different, yet I'm puzzled about why the Settings window suddenly closes when I try to minimize it. Does anyone else notice this happening with the Windows Settings app? It seems odd if only that specific program is involved.

I've encountered some programs or malware that divert attention and mimic a 3D or fullscreen app, making everything else on your screen shrink. This is real, and I've resolved it multiple times in my workspace. It might just be a minor glitch in Windows settings, which could be fixed with a straightforward upgrade. I recommend using a Focus Logger first to eliminate that possibility before proceeding with an in-place update.

Hi, I saved Focus Logger and let it operate while exploring Settings. Nothing appears in Focus Logger during minimization. This only occurs with Windows Settings. Occasionally, if the window isn't focused on it, it remains open. The titlebar wiggle is disabled, but dragging the window sometimes causes it to minimize. Noticing the Settings home page helps it work properly, though interacting with the right-side frames can trigger issues.

No, I haven't performed any SFC/DISM scans.

Hello, thank you for your message. I apologize for the delayed response. I finished setting up a new Windows 11 installation using Atlas OS, so the minimization settings are now resolved.
