I'm wrapping up my build and am focusing on RAM. I'm aiming for a low-profile option to keep the NH-D15 fan from getting too hot, but I'm avoiding Corsair's Vengeance LPX because of negative feedback. Crucial Ballistix seems like a safer bet. Have anyone got more suggestions or should I skip this and opt for something taller? The PCPartPicker list looks solid with all the parts included.

None of that ram is low profile it all is just standard sized. Lpx isn't bad ram or anything don't really know what you heard. As for your system are your really paying 800$ for a 570? Or is this a card you have already? There is also a LOT of price optimization possible here without loosing any quality and that can EASILY get you a 5800x for no increase in budget.

RX570 is part of my latest setup. For reaching 5800x I’ve made all the necessary adjustments except for RAM and the case, which are already secured. I also secured solid discounts on the CPU and motherboard.

Crucial Ballistix stays relatively unobtrusive. Corsair LPX performs well too, though it uses slightly more flexible timing at the same frequency. It's just RAM-based, which might be what some people think is a downside. I've tested both Corsair LPX 3000 cl15 and Crucial Ballistix 3600 cl16 in the past, and neither encountered any problems.
