Minimal Windows 10 version for efficiency and speed.
Suppose, that's a reason to use one. out off necessity. I'm just thinking how I couldn't even use a 32GB one in my laptop. As I was able to use 700GB of my laptop within a day (most of the time was taken up by internet bottlenecks) so yea. I couldn't see me using 32GB SSD one, apart from maybe a SSD cache on a NAS
I've configured it on an Optane storage device I received for free. There isn't a lot of available space, but I didn't intend to keep it that way.
You might want to check if it functions properly. I understand Windows 10 includes a built-in file compression feature. It seems you may need to enable it. If your device supports an SD card, you can store programs and profile folders like Documents or Downloads there conveniently. Store apps will also work similarly. Please let us know if it works and the storage size required for Windows 10 under 16GB.
Observe that Windows updates typically save files to your installation disk. You may wish to redirect the downloads to an SD card instead. Here’s how you can adjust the settings using a virtual link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...54a?auth=1
Windows 10 lists minimum system specs at 16 gigabytes, but keep in mind that new updates will increase storage needs. That means you might not be able to install them all. I’d suggest aiming for at least 32 gigabytes just in case Microsoft adds features you don’t need right now. LOL.
